You may already know that Nigeria is *The Largest Black Nation* in the world and the *Most Populous Nation* in Africa.

You may already know that Nigeria has great dependency on crude oil, plus all the other opinions of David Cameron.

Here are *20 unpopular facts about Nigeria.*

1. Are you aware that all over the world *Nigerians are setting the pace* and becoming the standard by which others measure themselves?
Do you know?

2. In the US, Nigerians are *The Most Educated* immigrant community. Type it into Google and you’ll see it. Not one of the most educated, the most educated.

3. *60% of Nigerians* in the US have *college degrees.* This is far above the American national average of 30%.

4. Nigerians in US are one of *The Highest Earners,* typically earning 25% more than the median US income of $53k.

5. In Ivy League schools in Europe and America, *Nigerians routinely outperform* their peers from other nations.

6. *A Nigerian family, The Imafidon family,* have officially been named *the smartest family in the UK.*

7. The designer of the famous car, *Chevrolet Volt, Jelani Aliyu,* is a super talented Nigerian from Sokoto State.

8. *The World’s fastest supercomputer* was designed by a world renowned inventor and scientist, *Philip Emeagwali,* a full-blown Nigerian whose patency was awarded in 2015. This means Nigeria has the patency to the world’s fastest computer: a Black Nigerian.

9. The *wealthiest Black man and woman* on earth are Nigerians, *Aliko Dangote and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija.* Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind.

10. South Africa couldn’t have ended apartheid & achieved Black rule if not for the leadership role Nigeria played.

11. Of the 3 South African Presidents who ruled after apartheid, two of them once lived in Nigeria under asylum. Both Nelson Mandela (60s) and Thabo Mbeki (70s) lived in Nigeria before becoming President of South Africa. We gave financial support, human support, boycotted an Olympics and our politicians, musicians and activists campaigned relentlessly.

12. Nigeria spent over $3 Billion and lost hundreds of soldiers to end the wars in both Liberia and Sierra Leone which the world ignored because they have no oil.

13. When there was a coup in São Tomé and Príncipe in 2003, Nigeria restored the elected President back to power.

14. Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom had street lights fueled by palm oil.

15. 500 years ago, Benin casted metal alloys to create magnificent art including the world famous Queen Ida Mask.

16. Amina was a warrior queen who ruled Zaria Emirate in Kaduna state, Northwestern Nigeria 400 years ago in 1610. Google and see what she means to Africa.

17. We gave monetary gifts to Ireland during our oil boom and built a statue for France free of charge. We are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich and don’t be lied to.

18. The first television station in Africa was *NTA Ibadan (1960)* long before Ireland has their RTE station.

Wherever you look in this great country, Nigeria, heroes abound both now and in our recent and ancient past.

If all you do is listen to mainstream Western media, you’ll not get the full picture of your Nigerian heritage.

Do not listen to any leader who says Nigerians are criminals, no matter who he is, or his height and position.

We’re not a nation of scammers, drugs & corruption, but a people with a verifiable track record of greatness.

Here is what CNN, BBC, Aljezeera and western media will not tell you about Nigerians:

19. On the 7th May, 2016 at *Howard University* in Washington D.C history was made. Out of 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, *43 of them were Nigerians* and out of 27 awards given, 16 went to Nigerians.
The entire world still envies our uniqueness as a NATION with living together despite our ethnic diversity. One single country with over *400 languages.*

They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas et al.

If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one
will blow it for you.

20. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians world over and only less than 250,000 of this figure have traceable criminal records.

This is about 0.14% of our entire national population in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global media.

Listen Nigeria, don't let anybody woo you into believing that you are a criminal just because you are a Nigerian.

Nigerians are
NOT criminals.

You are NOT a criminal.

You are topnotch; second to none around the world.

I am proud am created a Nigerian, thank God. .

Be proud of *Nigeria* wherever you go.

Take out your Passport with pride.

A 45-year old Ayo Fadairo has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for sexual harassment and assault by allegedly touching a woman’s breasts and buttock.
The incident happened at Akanro Street in Ilasamaja area of Lagos where the suspect and the victim reside.
However, the embattled Fadairo had insisted that he used to touch the victim’s breasts and buttock but she had never complained against such action from him.
Fadairo landed in trouble after he caressed Anu Felix’s breasts and buttock with the desire to lure her into sex without her consent.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the action backfired as the victim was not in the mood for such and attacked Fadairo which resulted in serious beating and assault from the suspect on the victim.
The matter was reported to the police at Itire Division and Fadairo was arrested and taken to the station.
At the station, the victim alleged that the suspect assaulted her by touching her private parts and at the same time assaulted her.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Fadairo admitted that he touched her breasts and buttock and it was not the first time he was doing so to her and she never complained.
However, the police insisted that since he touched the victim without her consent, he committed a criminal offence and he was charged to court accordingly.
Fadairo was charged before Isolo Magistrates court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and assault on the victim.
He pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.O. Ogbe granted him bail in the sum of N30,000 with one surety in like sum.
However, Fadairo was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.
The matter was adjourned till 20 September, 2017.

The Nigerian Navy needs $1.3 billion to acquire new hardware to secure its territorial waters, according to Navy Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice-Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, who is seeking the acquisition of at least five new ships
Addressing a public hearing organised by the House of Representatives Committee on Maritime Safety and Administration, Ibas said the required long term acquisitions include a general-purpose frigate valued at $350 million, a long-endurance Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) valued at $120 million, a medium-endurance OPV estimated at $60 million, a landing platform dock ship worth $350 million and a landing ship-tank valued $90 million.
Other required assets include a submarine worth $300 million, a Seaward Defence Boat (SDB) worth $10 million and a specialised naval security helicopter at an estimated cost of $25 million.
Ibas said the new equipment would help the navy fully secure the country’s territorial waters against piracy, armed robbery at sea, crude oil theft and illegal bunkering, poaching, smuggling, vandalism, kidnapping, proliferation of small arms, illegal waste dumping and oil pollution.
However, he said the navy was concerned about the ‘substantially progressive decrease’ in government budgetary allocations for its capital and overhead expenditures since 2012.
In 2016, the Nigerian Navy took delivery of several naval defence assets and platforms in a fleet recapitalization programme that involved local construction and servicing of naval vessels.
The new offshore patrol vessels NNS Unity and NNS Karaduwa were delivered by Chinese company Poly Technologies and commissioned alongside other boats that were produced or re-fitted locally.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, last month said that Nigeria is said to be losing about N7 trillion ($19 billion) annually in the maritime sector due to leakages in revenue generation and insecurity in the water ways.
“Between January and March 2016, several attacks were reported off Nigeria’s coast. This was said to involve pirates stealing cargoes of crude oil and petroleum products. Reports had it that, no fewer than 44 ship crew members were abducted. In the first half of this year, about over 20 commercial vessels were attacked in Nigerian waters. The increasing level of attacks and violence in the Gulf of Guinea have given Nigeria and other countries in the sub-region very damaging and negative image in addition to an estimated monthly loss of $1.5 billion to the country.”
“[The] prevalence of insecurity in our waters resulted in the loss of $1.3 billion annually to Illegal Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing in West Africa alone yearly. We must tighten the legal and regulatory framework to stop these losses. The only way to promote intra- African trade in our water ways is to ensure safety and security of navigation in our waters.
“What is disturbing is that pirate attacks in West Africa are said to be occurring in our territorial waters, terminals and harbours and not in the high seas which effectively stopped intervention by international naval forces. Thus, the onus is on the Nigerian Navy to stem the tide and secure our territorial waters.”
Ibas said that spending more on the Nigerian Navy would save the country $4.4 billion from oil theft, $1 billion from illegal fishing and additional $6.70 billion from general insecurity annually.

Chief Olufemi Fani Kayode, a former aviation minister has implied that Nigeria has turned to the laughing stock of the world as it is being ruled by a 'walking corpse'.
FFK was reacting to the president's continued medical vacation in the United Kingdom. Buhari has only stayed 78 days in Nigeria since 2017 began.
Fani-Kayode said;
"Buhari has been away from our shores for over 100 days in a stretch treating an undisclosed and mysterious illness in far-away London. Since May 29th, 2015 when he was sworn into office as President he has spent 350 of his over 740 days in power abroad treating the same strange ailment.
Meanwhile, the world laughs us to scorn and mocks our nation as one in which even a walking corpse that is clearly suffering from dementia can lead and hold sway.
We are a nation in which an Acting President who is scared of his own shadow, who appears to have lost touch with his senses and who has forgotten the history and heritage of the people that he supposedly represents.
He has been reduced to a mere national co-ordinator and that is in the power of a faceless and tiny cabal of neo-nazi racists, religious bigots, and power-hungry geriatrics.
The truth is that we are now a full-fledged dictatorship that is being controlled and presided over by a tiny cabal with a religious and ethnic agenda.
The fact that the Federal Government is incapable of encouraging national cohesion and integration but is instead saddled with a morbid obsession to try to destroy President Goodluck Jonathan and rubbish his excellent legacy speaks volumes.
The lies and propaganda of the Buhari administration are second to none. Simply put they are filled with deceit, deception, mendacity, and hate"

The Federal Government has lifted the ban on
the controversial examinations usually
organised by universities in Nigeria for
admission seekers after the Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
The Federal Government had last year ordered
the scrapping of post-UTME for
candidates.Speaking in an exclusive interview
with The Guardian in Abuja yesterday, the
Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu,
said universities could now organise post-
UTME as a pre-condition to gaining admission
into universities in the country.
The minister, who however urged university
authorities to make the fees for the screening
affordable and not to impose huge financial
burden on the parents, said: “We are going to
allow universities to organise post-UTME if
they want.
“We have asked them not to impose huge
financial burden on the parents. The burden
should not be more than what they can
bear.”Adamu said that the Federal Government
had stopped the scrapping of the examination
to fully understand what was going on in
universities, adding: “We are now wiser.”
The minister, who expressed confidence in the
examination conducted by the Joint
Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB),
said the management of JAMB had remitted N5
billion to the Federal Government coffers,
which happens to be the highest so far in the
last 40 years of the board’s existence.
He said: “Since JAMB was established more
than 40 years ago, the total amount it has
given government was N200 million, but in
one year, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede has remitted N5
billion to government.
“The new JAMB registrar has been correcting
many anomalies in the board. Within a year,
he has been able to stop all the untold things
that were happening there.

high cost of good and services in nigeria and it's effect on the citizens of nigeria. When there is high cost of goods

and services in a particular country the people tend to buy nothing or less with little capital ,at this point there will

be less goods and services which they can buy at high cost rate, Goods and services are now in the hands of the rich

with big  capital to buy,and with little or nothing which the poor can be able to buy or purchase as a result of little or

insufficient capital

Never Outshine The Master

Always make those above you feel comfortably superior. in your desire to please or impress them , do not go too far in displaying your talents or you might accomplish the opposite - inspire fear and insecurity. make your masters appear more brilliant than they are and you will attain the heights of power.
